First of all, before writing this, I want to clarify that I'm not writing to shift the responsibility to other trainees nor other trainees' fandom, nor to attack them. I ask for the people commenting to be aware of that.
I am a fan of the JYP trainee, Jeon Somi, who has been on the program 'Produce 101' that has been the talk of the town.
However, I feel that Mnet has been using only Somi with unfair means to attract attention.
1. Manipulating the View Hits
'Produce 101' has been providing their official videos on Naver's tvcast.
But while the view hits and comments of the videos of other trainees have been increasing normally, it could be seen several times that the view hits and comments are decreasing for Jeon Somi's videos only. If it was only once or twice, it could be called an error. Though it has not been just once or twice so I don't think it could be passed as an 'error'.
Within 2 minutes, the view hits decreased by 150
Within 1 minute, view hits decreased by 350.
Unlike another trainee whose video's view hits had increased, Jeon Somi's video's view hits decreased by 450 in a minute.
Decreased 650 view hits within a minute.
It's already like this only with the materials I have found. I also saw a lot people saying that the counts of comments decreased too but I'm not writing them here since I couldn't find any proof. If anyone has the proof, please leave them in the commentsㅜ
2. Drastic Fall in the Rate of Increase for the Percentage of Fan Support + Percentage Decreases
The next one is fan support. Honestly, it can be said that fan support is something where only the fans among the audience would do. However, as the percentage of Jeon Somi's fan support got over 70%, the rate of increase began to drastically fall. I'm talking about how it became difficult to just increase by 1%. It is hard to understand that while other trainees received an increase of 6%, Jeon Somi who is almost the member with most popularity and recognition suddenly had not even 1% increased. Along with the view hits being manipulated, I just cannot understand this. Moreover, fan support is something that fans who had been doing from the start would do consistently. Now it is like the half of the fans who began to support from the beginning has disappeared all of a sudden. And there is proof of the percentage of fan support decreasing as well.
Can you see it? All the other trainees had their percentage increased but only Jeon Somi had her percentage decreased.
Above this, it was said that there were witnesses too, but there's no concrete proof yet.
3. Malicious Editing
Actually, this doesn't suit the topic (of the post) but I am writing this, hoping to let more people know of Mnet's malicious editing and be not instigated by it.

FYI, to describe Jeon Somi's personality in short, though people who have watched 'Sixteen' would've known, even at the age of experiencing adolescence, she is a kid who has always been bright, thoughtful, innocent and kindㅜㅜㅜ
In fact, it is hard to believe that the odds of votes and fan support that are manipulated. Furthermore, as the processing of the amount of votes was not shown in the broadcast but solely the result was shown, it really can't be reliable.
I am not writing this because I am upset by the fact that Somi lost her #1. The fact that Somi's #1 was taken away by unfair means, and Mnet used Somi to create a dramatic ending - 'JYP Trainee Jeon Somi, Despite Being From a Big Company, Her #1 Was Taken Away' for their media play and PR, and spread such articles is so shamelessly obvious that made me so furious and began to write this post. I begin to wonder whether Somi was just a tool for Mnet to media play since the beginning... To see (Mnet) creating a wrong image that Somi, who has just turned 16, has a bad personality and manipulating makes me sad. I hope everyone will not curse at Somi nor be instigated by Mnet as they wish for after getting to know this truth.
Once again, I definitely have no intention of telling other trainees nor their fandoms to take responsibility to this.

There was no increase in the view hits within 2 minutes. However, during this period, the view hits of other trainees were increasing normally. If anyone has more proof above this, please leave them in the comment.

The amount of live hits on naver of other trainees were increasing normally, but Somi's decreased by 34000...
Also, Somi appeared on the preview of the previous episode but for the latest broadcast, her hidden camera part wasn't even shown... With that, it is for definite that Somi was just used for media play. It seems that they are trying to garner interest with Somi being angry in the preview again.
And, although I've said this multiple times, please don't fight. I am not angry about Sejung winning #1. I am angry about manipulation on Somi's result. I think Sejung was totally worth the #1! I hope people who are commenting would refrain themselves. Sejung and Somi are close, how can their fans fightㅠㅜㅠ
